Tom Helma (Founder)

Tom has a decade of experience in engineering and product management for the industrial sector. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management.

Tom values hard work and continuous improvement. He has delivered innovative solutions for the many design, construction, manufacturing, and business challenges faced by his organizations. Throughout his career he has built strong relationships with all partners, including co-workers, customers and clients, vendors, and investors.

Tom married his wife, Marissa, in 2019. Together they welcomed their daughter, Dylann, in 2021. Tom’s family is the single most important thing in his life, serving as his motivation for all endeavors. In his spare time, Tom enjoys golfing, brewing beer, and taking walks with his family and their 85lb bernedoodle, Reagan.
